Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, Marcus has been influenced by numerous songwriters spanning across genres. He has used the inspirations of James Fauntleroy, Frank Ocean, Ester Dean, Dewaine Whitmore and Eric Bellinger to create his own unique style that spans across R&B, pop, electronic, acoustic and country genres. His studious approach to songwriting recently earned him a #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 Japan, a feature in Rolling Stone India, advertising placements with AWA and McDonald’s Japan. Hall is currently preparing his debut album under the alias Teen AF, collaborating with 4x GRAMMY-winner Brian Kennedy, Troy NōKA and GRAMMY-nominated Doug Fenske. He continues to write songs in collaboration with elite producers in Los Angeles.
